  1. The sketch has nothing to do with Breitbart.

  2. Good job! You're quite the renaissance man, Bruce!

  3. Thanks Pete!

So far, my portfolio includes this drawing, my earlier sketch of the elements, my TY logo, and the "Don't Tread On Meade" button.

    More to come!

  4. "Whose" behind the Blue Mask?

What happened to matched pairs and bilateral symmetry?

It looks to be a political cartoon but the seven arms are perplexing. If it is a sketch of the Seven Machos, I give up.

The addition of color is nice though, and the tape takes it to the collage level.

In the Fun Facts for Autists category:
Octopuses have keen eyesight. Octopuses, like other cephalopods, can distinguish the polarization of light... Attached to the brain are two special organs, called statocysts, that allow the octopus to sense the orientation of its body relative to horizontal. An autonomic response keeps the octopus's eyes oriented so that the pupil slit is always horizontal.
    How cool is that!

I was trying to style it after a vortex.

When I first read that I saw "college level" and thought you were calling me sophomoric. :)

Thank you for your comments about light polarity. I simply hadn't thought of that.

  6. Since XKCD started with stick figures, I consider this vortex of intertwined and shadowed arms to be a rather fluid and impressive expression of aut.

Unable to decipher the lettered arm and determine if the colors were add meaning or vivacity to the swirl.

  7. This is more cryptic than a Warren Report. Do you give clues?
