Christmas In August

I rarely rave about consumer products, but here's one I really like:

Link  It's a "power failure" flashlight/night light. The cylindrical flashlight rests in the bottom portion that plugs into the wall.  It's charged by inductive coupling (no wires or prongs). When you lift the light out of its charging cradle it lights. When the room darkens, the bottom turns into a night light. I'm getting some of these to give as Christmas gifts this year.

  1. What's the life of the charge?

  2. Long enough for the lights to come back on.

I laugh at those reviewers on Amazon who bitch and moan about the overly bright and too-blue LED light and the too-dim night-light aspect. It's not a frigging flashlight to bring camping or to the beach.

  3. I should think that you're bright enough to INVENT one that runs on fusion power and could last the (remaining) age of the universe...

I know that everyone in marketing would make fun of you because redundancy makes the economy work, but I'd be thrilled.
