I Must Be Bohred II

There is no quantum world. There is only an abstract physical description. It is wrong to think that the task of physics is to find out how nature is. Physics concerns what we can say about nature.  ~Niels Bohr

I suspect the same holds true for elephants and blind men:

More snappy Bohrdom here

  1. There's an interesting divide between theoretical physics and practical physics (applied engineering, chemistry and higher calculus) within the physics community. Sometimes it gets downright nasty.

Quantum foam - take me home - to the place I belong (no apologies to John Denver)

  2. Dude that looks like the last party at the Republican convention!
