  6. Jason, I'm going to hurry out, buy some Jimi stamps and test your theory. If you all don't hear from me from some time -- don't worry.

    I think Jimi was one heck of a man on the guitar. He burned out far more quickly than Ray Charles, which may be a comment on the physical impact of LSD vs heroin? Or maybe not.

    I think of the concert on the Isle of Wight with Jimi, cross eye'd Johnny Winter and the old crew - and it's really no wonder that they didn't last that long.
