  3. Because it's recently come up on my shuffle rotation more than once, I'm going with Ronstadt's Different Drum. Though you have plenty of other fine choices there, Bruce. Stoned Soul Picnic. I've got the 5th Dimension and Swing Out Sister's nearly note-for-note remake.

    (I also have two other Ronstadt songs - Tumbling Dice and Poor Pitiful me - both of which would be great remakes for Carrie Underwood.)
