I started buying albums around 1972, right after I got a paper route and had my own money.chickelithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10773887469972534979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130126685334700207.post-36836492116327888242010-11-14T16:57:28.494-08:002010-11-14T16:57:28.494-08:00Now you're beginning to enter a time when I ha...Now you're beginning to enter a time when I have distinct memories of some these. The singles, mainly, since my exposure would've been what was on the radio. (I didn't buy albums until 1974 or 1975 and my first were The Beatles' Red and Blue retrospective albums.)

So I'll start with the singles. Mr. Bojangles I reallyl liked. And War. ABC. Spill The Wine. Oh for goodness' sakes, everything on your list but James Brown. My small circle of experience wouldn't expose me to that until years later.

The albums? Oh, I finally got around to Paranoid but that was me trying, and failing, to be rebellious. No, Bridge Over Troubled Waters was more my style, so I'll go with that as my favorite.

Looking forward to the next few years, Bruce.Petehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04210441627504923976noreply@blogger.com
